We work with a wide range of high-performance elastomers. For small-volume orders, we maintain a ready-to-use stock of EPDM, NBR, and Silicone with hardness levels ranging from 50 to 80 Shore A. For other specialized materials (such as Peroxide EPDM, Platinum Silicone, HNBR, SBR, Viton/FKM, Neoprene, or Natural Rubber), a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) may be required depending on the specification. 

Does Vina Rubber cover the costs for tooling and molds?

At Vina Rubber, customers are responsible for the initial tooling investment, which is a one-time fee for the entire duration of the project (spanning multiple years). Once the initial mold is paid for, Vina Rubber takes full responsibility for all maintenance, repairs, and even complete replacements at our own expense if the tooling becomes worn or damaged. This ensures a stable and worry-free production lifecycle for our partners.

What in-house machining technologies does Vina Rubber use for mold fabrication?

Our in-house tooling lab allows us to accelerate the timeline significantly. Prototyping typically takes 5–15 business days, while mass production molds and the initial pilot run usually take 20–35 business days. Lead times may vary slightly based on part complexity and material availability.

Do customers have to pay for tooling/molds for every mass production order?

No. At Vina Rubber, tooling is a one-time investment. You only pay for the mold once during the initial development phase. We take full responsibility for the storage, professional maintenance, and any necessary repairs of your molds to ensure they remain in perfect condition for all subsequent mass production runs.

For specialized applications requiring Medical-Grade Silicone (Platinum-Cured), which offers superior purity and biocompatibility, we can manufacture these components upon request. Please note that a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) may be required for Platinum-Cured materials to ensure the most competitive pricing and material freshment.

For projects using our in-stock materials (EPDM, NBR, Silicone), you will receive a comprehensive technical review and formal quotation within 24 to 48 hours. For projects requiring specialized compounds or custom material sourcing, the quotation process may take slightly longer as we coordinate with our material scientists to ensure the most competitive and accurate pricing.

How long does it take to ship approval samples to the USA, Canada, or Germany?

Typically, Vina Rubber ships approval samples to the USA, Canada, and the EU via UPS Air Freight. The transit time is generally 5 to 7 business days, ensuring a fast and reliable prototyping phase for our international partners.
